The Lachlan Local Area Command is part of the Western Region. The Command is situated on the Newell Highway in the central west of the state. The Command comprises the major townships of Parkes, Forbes, Condobolin & Lake Cargelligo and smaller townships of Bogan Gate, Trundle, Tullamore, Tottenham, Peak Hill & Tullibigeal.
